Our 2023 budget update

It’s with great joy today that we can share with you that we were able to finish this year $50,000 over expected giving! We set a budgeted goal last year of $1.45 million and ended the year at $1.5 million! We are praising the Lord for His kindness through our shared generosity. This allowed us to cover our expenses and also gives us the ability to start this new year committed to the ministry opportunities right in front of us!

We had some unexpected facility repairs, a deposit to invest in our 2024 Student Camp, a few benevolent and ministry opportunities we didn’t anticipate, and an automated support system glitch in giving for ministry partners that contributed to our need to adjust 2023 expenses throughout the last year. However, we were able to meet all of those unexpected expenses and exceed our budgeted goal for 2023. From our entire team and our ministry partners, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts! We thank God for your partnership in the gospel!

We met our 2023 commitments, added 2 new pastors to our team, expanded new ministry partnerships, saw a church planted with UCC (with another one beginning to take form for 2024), and cared for our facility needs and benevolent needs with wisdom and generosity. We saw over 40 individuals baptized, our student ministry team grow, new volunteers serving in every area of ministry, and with God’s help we were able to serve our circles of accountability and share the gospel throughout the year.

The real power of the church remains her people…people living dependent upon the Spirit, intentionally serving one another, and loving our neighbors (even our enemies) for His sake.
