Why Summit Students

Summit Students is the student ministry of Summit Church for those in 6th-12th grade. Our mission is to create a community that lovingly invites students to see how Jesus and the gospel change all of life.

Our prayer is that every student who attends Summit Students, for any period of time, will understand that God’s mission of redemption happens through ALL of Christ’s people, including middle and high schoolers. We also pray that the Summit Students staff and volunteers can come alongside families, in whatever way needed, as they navigate the journey of discipling their children.

What To Expect

Summit Students emphasizes the same five values as Summit Church. Every week, your student will hear a message based around one of Summit’s five values.  For all campuses, Summit Student(s) spend time going through the same series - whether it be an occasional topical series or walking through a book of the bible, we always try to point our messages back to Jesus and one of the values of Summit as we see it rise from the pages of Scripture.

We are also committed to small groups as a way of relational ministry. These groups are split up by gender and then, depending on the campus, by age. Your student will spend time every week in a small group with peers their age and gender that is led by a volunteer with a heart for students. We also encourage our amazing volunteers to reach out to your students throughout the week to encourage them to continue to passionately pursue God.
