Hurricane helene relief

** If you need help or assistance, please contact us at summit@summitupstate.org **

Here are some ways to help support and offer relief for those recovering from the devastation of Hurricane Helene:

  1. Check on a neighbor and keep an eye out for those you can help right where God has placed you! Don’t underestimate the small things like a phone call, a knock on the door, helping with groceries, helping clean up yards, etc.

  2. Donate any of the following items to Summit Church THIS SUNDAY OR NEXT SUNDAY to be distributed to Summit families in need, local ministry partners, and church partners serving the significant needs in Western NC:

    • Non-perishable food items (canned goods, peanut butter, pasta, pasta sauce, ketchup, mustard, sugar, flour, rice, etc)

    • Diapers (all child and adult sizes needed) & Wipes

    • Toilet Paper & Paper Towel

    • Toothbrushes and Toothpaste

    • Flashlights

    • AA and AAA Batteries

    • Blankets

    • Water Containers with Handles (2.5 and/or 5 Gallon)

    • Garbage Bags

  3. Donate to the Summit Church Benevolence Fund.

  4. Donate to Miracle Hill, Samaritan’s Purse, NC Baptist Association.

As we learn of other opportunities to serve, give, donate, or support we promise to let you know. Thank you for already stepping into hard places to love and serve others over the last several days.
